Hannah Makin
You can contact Hannah by:

Hannah Makin, MSc, MBPsS, MPNLP, GQHP

Psychologist, NLP Master Practitioner and Hypnotherapist
During the past 13 years,  I have worked for Macmillan Cancer Care, Hospice Care, Magic Carpet, The Rose Road Association and other charitable organisations whose focus is providing care and support for people who face physical and psychological difficulties.  I decided to dedicate the direction of my private practice work to the area of psychological health and well being as people so often seem to suffer a lack of resources and support to move forward psychologically in mainstream health care.

I originally specialised in cancer care, and have since worked with clients to overcome psychological barriers within chronic illness, smoking, terminal illness, alcoholism, depression, over eating, anxiety, Limiting beliefs, postnatal-depression, low self-esteem, dysfunctional relationships, low motivation, physical disability, sexual  health.

I am an empathetic psychologist who uses Hypnotherapy and Neuro-linguistic Programming as my primary approach.

My clients encompass adults from all walks of life who have struggled to find effective support else where, and most importantly, have yet to be provided with the tools to pro actively turn their lives around and instigate positive changes in their state of mind.

Through sensitivity and understanding I support and guide my clients to fulfilling their psychological strengths permanently.

Roessa Marks - Bowen Practitioner
You can contact Roessa by:

Roessa Marks Cert ECBS, Dip.FRYOG

Bowen Practitioner
Starting out as a yoga teacher 16 years ago, I found the human body fascinating to work with and through my work with yoga, recognised that the Bowen Technique would be amazingly beneficial to the sphere I work in.

Bowen has a calming effect on the autonomic nervous system and is multifaceted in that it works on the physical, as well as the energetic body.  As a Bowen Practitioner, I aim to work with the body, enabling it to utilise it’s energy and structure to overcome physiological struggle and therefore returning to internal balance and achieving the maximum possible state of well-being.

When we are stressed, often we are living from a place of fear, anxiety, reaction overload, making it more and more difficult to function day to day.

Bowen can gently and effectively help relieve the symptoms of stress as it balances the body. It is widely know to help with Asthma, back pain, high blood pressure, anxiety, I.B.S, fibromyalgia, migraines, neck and shoulder pain, shin splints  and sleep issues to name but a few.
